(Arlington, Virginia) October 10, 2003 - On October 2, 2003 Slye held the second annual Technology Showcase. The event was a great success and ran from 11 am until 7 pm at the headquarters of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Arlington, Virginia.
We arranged the Showcase into a series of venues to demonstrate some of the applications for Digital Media Technology. The venues included a Large Projection Area, Video Display Cubes, a Small Classroom Venue, Video Teleconferencing, Virtual Computer Training, Divisible Conference Room, Home Theater System, Residential Lifestyles Display, and more. These venues allowed the attendees to interact with the systems. We hope that each attendee gained new knowledge and can now envision new uses for digital media technology in their lives!
