ONE WEEK UNTIL SLYE'S 2003 TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE!

One Week...
We are now about one week away from the 2003 Technology Showcase! We are
so glad you will be joining us and displaying your products at our
event. We also greatly appreciate your patience as we have been
balancing daily work and the Showcase efforts (as well as a hurricane
named Isabel). Everything is being finalized on our end for a great day.
This page will provide you with any last minute details you may need.
Displays / Venues / Table...
Our floor plan is finalized. By now Rebecca Cagley should have contacted
you with requests for equipment. If you have not heard from Rebecca
please contact her at rac@slye.com or let Katie know so that we can
double check on the status of your display space. Those vendors whose
equipment is heavily utilized throughout the Venues will have space for
literature on the products. Those vendors whose equipment is to be
statically displayed on tables will have room for equipment and
literature.
Literature...
We estimate that throughout the course of the day there will be
approximately 500 people browsing the Showcase. Please bring enough
literature on your products to accommodate that many people. If you wish
to send the literature in advance, please send it to our office and we
will have it waiting for you during setup.
Swag...
If you have swag which you wish to be included in the literature bags
given to clients at the Welcome Table please let me know. If you can
send the swag to us in advance we will prepackage everything to make it
easy. Again please base swag counts on 500 people throughout the day.
Door Prizes...
We are collecting our door prizes. Right now we will be giving away two
tickets to the Redskins v. Seahawks game at FedEx Field on November 9,
2003, plus two DVD players. If your company would like to donate a door
prize please let Katie know immediately so that we may advertise that
fact.
Setup...
We have had the fortune of being able to use the conference center
approximately 48 hours before our event as opposed to the night before.
Therefore the time schedule for set up is as follows:
Tuesday, September 30, 2003

Pipe and Drape is set up. |
| 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm : |
Slye crew loads equipment into the Conference Center
and setup begins. |
Wednesday, October 1, 2003
| 9:00 am - 3:00 pm : |
Slye continues set up. Conference Center is open to
Vendors for setup. |
Thursday, October 2, 2003
| 6:30 am : |
Caterers, Flowers and Balloons arrive and set up |
| 7:15 am - 9:30 am : |
Vendors arrive and setup |
| 8:00 - 9:00 am : |
Slye Shuttle bus carries staff to Conference Center |
| 9:30 am - 11:00 am : |
Showcase Tour for Vendors and all employees. |
| 11:00 am - 7:00 pm : |
Showcase |
| 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm : |
Take down and cleanup |
Please note that Vendors may set up on October 1 from 9:00 pm - 3:00 pm as
well as the morning of the 2nd from 7:15 am - 9:30 am. We ask that all
Vendors arrive by 9:00 am on the 2nd. As soon as the Showcase is over
breakdown of the venues will begin. We request that cleanup be completed
by 9:00 pm.
Security...
We will have security officers watching the equipment at all times,
ensuring that any equipment will be safe during the days before the
Showcase. Please direct any questions about security to Duke Gjerset.
